What is traffic overflow or Overdelivery?

Are you experiencing difficulties comprehending or identifying charges on your ClickAdilla account? If you're facing unidentified ClickAdilla charges, you can utilize the following article for assistance.

Average Daily Budget and Overdelivery

ClickAdilla operates with an average daily budget for your campaigns. Sometimes, you may notice slight variations in your daily advertising costs, either higher or lower than the budget you've set. There's no need to worry, as over the course of a month-long billing cycle, you will not be charged more than your average daily budget would have allowed for over 30.4 days.

The Calculation Behind 30.4

Essentially, the number 30.4 represents the average days in a month (365 days in a year divided by 12 months = 30.417). ClickAdilla multiplies your average daily budget by this figure to determine your budget allocation over the span of a month.

Understanding Overdelivery

For campaigns that are not paying for conversions, ClickAdilla allows up to 2 times the number of clicks in a day than your average daily budget allows. This practice is known as overdelivery, and it comes with a significant benefit. If your ad ends up being shown excessively, leading to costs beyond what your average daily budget permits for over a billing cycle, you'll receive a credit to compensate for those additional expenses.

Illustrative Example:

Suppose you've set your daily budget at $5, and your billing cycle spans 30 days. Throughout the month, you observe varying charges – some days, it's $2, while on others, it's $10. However, at the end of the month, your total charges will not exceed $152 (calculated as 30.4 multiplied by your $5 budget).

Even if your campaign costs fluctuated above and below your $5 budget on a daily basis, your ultimate monthly charges will align with your intended budget.

Navigating Fluctuating Internet Traffic

The fluctuation in daily costs might be influenced by changes in internet traffic. However, by the end of the month, you can expect your expenses to align with your anticipated budget.
